JOAQUÍN VILLARINO

Joaquín Villarino

Born in Spain and raised in Chile, Villarino is a contemporary painter based in Los Angeles. His practice explores the intersection of emotional authenticity and formal structure — large-scale works that examine transformation, continuity, and the relationship between past and present selves.

His work is held in private collections across Los Angeles, San Francisco, New Mexico, Chile, Brasil, Mexico, and Venezuela. He maintains his studio at Alium Gallery in Culver City.
